Costs

Before the tour, we will finalise the itinerary including tour and conference costs before invoicing you. Your participation is confirmed upon payment. Your NZPPI hosts will organise transport, and accommodation bookings on your behalf (we ask you to settle accounts directly with hotels on departure). Arrange your own fights to/from Auckland.

Arrival in Auckland, evening meet-up

Overnight in Karaka DoubleTree by Hilton, 20 min drive from Auckland Airport.

New Zealand Plant Producers Conference Day 1

Join one of our practical events:

  • Option1 will visit Black Bridge Nursery and Mace Landscapes to explore the issues and opportunities in the landscape sector.

  • Option 2 will visit Rainbow Park Nursery and NZ Gourmet to see how NZ producers are at the forefront of technology and energy systems.

  • Option 3 is our AI Masterclass session, an opportunity to upskill and see how this technology is used in the industry.

    Enjoy a fun social evening at the world class Windross Farm Golf Course where you can help us celebrate 10 years of NZPPI and over 100 years of our industry. 

Day 3 - Thursday 21 May

New Zealand Plant Producers Conference Day 2

We have a fast paced conference programme, followed by our Industry Awards Dinner, with a ‘night at the races’ theme.

Deep dive nursery visits in Auckland and Waikato

Visit local nurseries, including Zealandia Horticulture, NZ’s largest and most advanced nursery for a special ‘deep dive’ tour. 

Day 4 - Friday 22 May
Day 5 - Saturday 23 May

We will continue our Waikato leg of the tour, with more nursery visits, and an option to visit Hobbiton. We will have dinner in Tauranga.
