Innovation and Integrity

MAY 15 & 16 2024 | HAMILTON

Join us in Hamilton for the NZPPI Innovation Day and Conference 2024

With the theme Innovation and Integrity our Conference Event on 15 & 16 May 2024 will explore the fantastic tech and systems available to producers today and the challenges and opportunities facing us in the future.

There are three separate events this year:

  • Innovation Day on May 15 where we will visit nursery and grower sites in Cambridge and Ruakura to see the latest in technology and automation.

  • Industry Dinner on the night of May 15 at the Novotel Hamilton Tainui

  • Our annual Conference on May 16 at Novotel.

Read our event programme.

Registration covers the cost of Innovation Day, Conference and Industry Dinner. The cost of registering your third or fourth etc team member is reduced by 30%!

Please note: Our limited special rate rooms at the Novotel Hamilton Tainui have now all been booked. However, if you need accommodation, contact the Novotel directly via the link below or on 07 838 1366 / h2159@accor.com. The Ibis is across the road from Novotel and can be contacted on 07 859 9200.

Innovation is essential for staying competitive and finding new ways to solve problems, while integrity is crucial for building trust, gaining credentials and maintaining strong relationships with customers, employees, and stakeholders.

Ultimately, a balance between the two is necessary for long-term success.

Thank you to all our 2024 sponsors!

Without our wonderful sponsors, Conference Event 2024 would not be able to go ahead and we are immensely grateful for their support. Full details on all our sponsors are available on our sponsors page but we’d like to give a special shout out to our major sponsors below. By supporting them, you support the NZPPI.

We are delighted to again welcome Daltons as our Platinum Sponsor for this year’s conference, which includes the generous support of our Industry Dinner.

Daltons is a New Zealand-owned, family-run business that has been supporting and supplying the horticultural industry for more than 75 years with superior growing media and nursery supplies.

Te Uru Raakau is supporting us again as our Gold Sponsor.

Te Uru Rākau New Zealand Forest Service works with tangata whenua, landowners, and the forestry and wood processing sector. Its goal is to unlock the full potential of Aotearoa New Zealand forests to support our climate change response.

Advanced Hort join us again this year and is one of our generous Silver Sponsors.

Advanced Hort offers innovative and integrated solutions for our industry, including Ellepot and Plant Propagation systems. The latter specialises in manufacturing pre-made Ellepots available in a variety of sizes. You’ll see Advanced Hort’s fantastic tech in action at both Innovation Day and at the trade display at the Novotel. Managing Director Nathan Hewson is also in our conference Innnovation in our Industry panel.

ICL join us again this year as an amazing Silver Sponsor. Impact for a sustainable future: ICL’s commitment to a greener world spans the globe. ICL serves all the world’s green markets through its ornamental horticulture, specialty agriculture and turf & amenity divisions. You’ll see ICL at the trade display.

Prime Hort is a Silver sponsor this year and is also demonstrating at Innovation Day so don’t miss out on attending on May 15 and checking out their stand on the 16th.

As a leading distributors of garden tools and nursery supplies, PrimeHort looks at every innovation possible to offer a complete solution. The Prime Hort team understands that meeting customers’ needs takes a lot more energy than being a one-stop-shop with a large product range.
